Note: Cap Screws are usually part threaded. Thread lengths are approximately 2 x diameter +1/2"
Most of our stock is in A2 / 304, with a few items in A4 /316 Stainless Steel.
There are a variety of different standards for Imperial threaded items. The most commonly availabe are based on the American Unified Thread Standard (UTS). There are both Coarse (UNC) and Fine (UNF) thread types available, with UNC the most comonly used.
When specifying the diameter of a UNC or UNF Bolt, it is common practice to specify the threads per inch (tpi) after the diameter. For example 1/4-20 x 1" has a 1/4"diameter with 20 tpi (UNC) and is 1" long.
